Kent O. Johnson, DMin
is the founder and senior servant of New Season Ministry, Inc., Fairborn, Ohio. New Season Ministry was incorporated in December of 2005 and opened for worship September 17, 2006.
Prior to founding New Season Ministry, Pastor Johnson served as a Chaplain in the United States Air Force from August 12, 1991 to November 30, 2005. Pastor Johnson’s previous pastoral charges were First Zion Baptist Church, Harpers Ferry, WV; Dudley Baptist Church, [now Destiny Baptist Church] Martinsburg, WV; and Washington Street Missionary Baptist Church, Paducah, KY.
Pastor Johnson was ordained at Mt. Jezreel Baptist Church, Washington, DC in 1978. He is a distinguished honors graduate of Howard University Divinity School, Washington, DC.
As an anointed teacher, Pastor Johnson’s desire is to translate the beauty and mystery of the Scriptures into constructs that reveal the power and destiny of God’s Word. With a practical, yet insightful and charismatic preaching style, Pastor Johnson is committed to spreading the good news of the Gospel to everyone he meets. Pastor Johnson is a sought after teacher, and preacher, who is called on to empower and encourage the people of God as he travels proclaiming the Word of God.

Pastor Johnson is married to Lady Deborah A. Turner-Johnson. They are blessed by three children and five grandchildren who bring joy to their lives.

is a dynamic spirit who is known for her loving style and in depth approach to the wisdom and Word of God. She is the rock and stable ground that facilitates Pastor Johnson’s unique and powerful ministry. Those who get to know First Lady hear and receive great wisdom, divine intellect, and the intense anointing on her life.
Lady Turner-Johnson, is a native of Greensboro, North Carolina and a graduate of North Carolina A & T University. She is a retired Air Force Nurse and currently is employed by the Elizabeth New Life Center, Dayton, Ohio.
Pastor and First Lady have been sent to share how it is possible to live the abundant life in Christ Jesus. There is a strong call on their lives and they are committed to serving God and this community by whatever means necessary. |
